MUSIC

Heading into my third year, I remain a proud member of the Mount Holyoke Victory Eights (V8s), one of the oldest, historically-female a cappella groups in the nation. Dressed in black and white since 1942, this group of diverse, incredibly talented singers has provided a kind, caring space for me to grow as a musician and student.

My solo for the year, "Just For Now" by Imogen Heap. Arranged by Lindsay Pope '07.

The V8's rendition of "White Winter Hymnal" by Fleet Foxes. Arrangement inspired by Pentatonix.

Each semester, the underclassmen gather in secret to arrange a special send-off song for the graduating seniors in the group. This is the V8's rendition of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together," inspired by Committed.

A cappella cover of Sam Smith's "Not In That Way" from his album, In The Lonely Hour.
(feat. sounds of nature, as this was recorded outside)

Below are two tracks used as my audition/application for music scholarships at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.
